Preparing the factory
Installing machinery of this scale is no small feat, as it is a significant piece of equipment. At 10 metres long and 3 metres wide, the 750T injection molding machine weighs approximately 40 tonnes when fully assembled.
To make room for the new 750T machine, we reorganised the factory floor, retiring some older equipment and relocating other assets to create the necessary space. Thanks to foresight in the original factory design, we already had the required electrical capacity and recirculating cooling water systems in place. The machine was built and tested before transport, and its installation has been carefully planned to ensure minimal impact on production.
Seamless integration and new possibilities for the team
With the addition of a second 750T machine, alongside our current 750T and 700T units, we are expanding capacity without adding complexity. The machine operates on the same systems as our existing equipment, ensuring seamless integration and requiring only minimal training. Our technical team is enthusiastic about the new addition, as it not only broadens what we can deliver for customers but also helps balance workloads and creates more scope to focus on process optimisation, performance, and innovation.
