Eye Protection Australia is a division of W&S Plastics, an Australian based, ISO 13485:2016 certified manufacturer of plastic injection moulded products specialising in components and assemblies for medical devices.
W&S Plastics has a long history of sourcing components from around the world that are used in our molding and assembly processes. We print, weld, glue, screw, anneal, assemble, test and package products.
As the COVID-19 crisis unfolded we recognised the need for locally manufactured protective equipment. Our team immediately set to work on the design of protective eye wear which would be effective, simple and inexpensive. Within a few days we were ready to commence production of our initial eye protection shields.

Eye Protection Australia is pleased to introduce a variety of custom designed eye (upper face) and full-face protective shields. Well suited for staff dealing face to face with customers, our personal protective equipment will help minimise your risk and exposure. Made from the highest quality plastic and offering a crystal-clear, unobstructed view. All lenses are easy to fit and remove.
The GX1 is a lightweight & easily assembled eye shield designed for those requiring a greater protective area than our GX2 model and the standard range of shields generally available. These splash shields are designed to be worn with a facemask and to rest gently on the mask or, without mask, on your nose. They can be worn over glasses without interfering. Replacement lenses are available and the frame will also accept the GX2 lens style. The innovative clip on design of the lenses makes them quick and easy to change in moments or remove for cleaning. Made in Australia, the strong and chemically resistant polycarbonate frames and clear 0.75mm PETG lenses will provide the wearer with enhanced protection and remain comfortable during prolonged use.

These splash shields are designed to be worn with a facemask and to rest gently on the mask or, without mask, on your nose. They can be worn over glasses without interfering. Replacement lenses are available and the frame will also accept the GX1 lens style should a greater degree of skin protection be required. The innovative clip on design of the lenses makes them quick and easy to change in moments or remove for cleaning. The FX2 is a large, lightweight, strong and economical face shield designed to provide excellent protection in the most challenging environments where unpleasant splashes are anticipated and a replacement shield may be required immediately. The 0.75 mm PETG shield has the strength and excellent clarity to retain its integrity for prolonged use. The quick and easy Velcro fastening system allows users to don the shield expediently for those moments where haste and safety is essential. The soft foam, shield support rests against your forehead and the Velcro strap is easily adjusted to provide a secure and comfortable fit.
The FX3 is an ultra-lightweight (~30g) full face shield with an anti-fogging 0.25mm chemically resistant PET lens (24 x 20cm) and polycarbonate frame. The sturdy, yet light polycarbonate frame features a nose bridge for support and comfort.
It is intended to provide full face shielding from moderate splashing. If you are seeking a protective full face shield which is anti-fogging, light weight, economical and comfortable to wear the FX3 has been designed to meet your needs.
The FX4 is a lightweight, clip-on shield designed to provide full face shielding from moderate splashing. The shield is constructed from 0.25mm anti-fogging, chemically resistant PET and two, cushion faced clips which will provide firm attachment to a standard spectacle frame, or similar.If you work with magnifying equipment or a light attached to spectacles, the FX4 can be quickly attached to provide the effective face shielding necessary for safety. The position of the clips on the frame can be chosen to adjust the space between the frame and the lens. Adjusting or exchanging the shield can occur without touching the spectacles; simply unclip the old to adjust or remove.
