Yok Hwa Lim has a Bachelor’s degree in Technology from University Science of Malaysia, Penang.
Her first job was with a Japanese Multinational Engineering Service company which provided Calibration and Repair services for measuring instruments.
She worked her way up and finally headed the internal audit section for the Malaysia region.
As her career progressed she moved into the field of Quality Assurance and Quality Management systems working for leading manufacturing companies in Malaysia. She has built several quality management systems all of which subsequently gained ISO Certification.
She is a qualified internal auditor for ISO 9001 & 14001.
Her experience includes industries like thermoforming, mechanical assembly and plastic injection moulding.
She has extensive experience and working knowledge of 6 Sigma, QC Tools, SPC, TQM, Lean Manufacturing and metrology tools.
