Your privacy is very important to us. At W&S Plastics Pty Ltd (“W&S Plastics”) we have a few fundamental principles that we follow:

- We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.
W&S Plastics operates several websites including wsplastics.com.au and eyeprotectionaustralia.com.au. It is W&S Plastics’ policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating our websites.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
Like most website operators, W&S Plastics collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. W&S Plastics’purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how W&S Plastics’ visitors use its website. From time to time, W&S Plastics may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g., by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
W&S Plastics also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments on our blogs. W&S Plastics only discloses logged in user and commenter IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below, except that blog commenter IP addresses are visible and disclosed to the administrators of the blog where the comment was left.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
You are requested to provide information which will assist us respond to you and the identifying information is retained to allow us to communicate with you.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who we share your data with
W&S Plastics will not share your personal data with other people or organisations that are not directly linked to us except under the following circumstances:

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website(s), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
If W&S Plastics or substantially all of its assets were acquired, or in the unlikely event that W&S Plastics goes out of business or enters bankruptcy, user information would be one of the assets that is transferred or acquired by a third party. We have implemented appropriate technical and organisational controls to protect your personal data against unauthorised processing and against accidental loss, damage or destruction. You are responsible for choosing and maintaining a secure password when we ask you to set up a password for My Account. You should keep this password confidential and you should choose a password that you do not use on any other site.
