Guy Bennett is the Planning and Purchasing Manager at W&S Plastics Pty Ltd and is responsible for the Planning, Forecasting and Purchasing.
Guy studied at the UTS Ku-ring-gai in Primary School Teaching before commencing work in the Manufacturing Industry.
Guy joined ResMed in 1995 and worked there for ten years – working throughout the many areas of Manufacturing including Warehouse / Quality Control and Logistic but his main area was in Planning and Purchasing. During these ten years Guy’s expertise grew not just only in Planning but the use of MRP / CRP software such as Pronto and Oracle.
These ten years proved priceless for Guy and he is very thankful for the time he spent working and learning at ResMed.
After ResMed Guy started at W&S Plastics in 2005 and immediately began the introduction of a material requirements and production schedule which evolved into a comprehensive understanding of production output, machine requirements, material requirements and stock holdings.
As W&S grew so did the need for an MRP system so in 2010 Pronto (a material reuirement and planning system) was implemented. Guy was instrumental in the implementation of this system and remains so with primary responsibility for continual evolution and upgrades.
With the help and continual support of the Planning and Logistic team Guy works to ensure that the requirements of customers and suppliers are always met.
